Blue Foral & Exotic Bird Kantha Quilt

Our new range of throws uses the technique of ‘Kantha’ – a running stitch, one of the oldest forms of Indian embroidery, which was traditionally used in West Bengal and Bangladesh. The throws are 100% printed cotton and are embellished with lines of running stitches.  A standard blanket double, they are perfect for sofas or as bedspreads, bringing an injection of colour, print and texture to a room.

Here at Dovecote we use them as stunning tablecloths.

This vibrant chinoiserie-inspired print features multi-coloured birds sitting on branches laden with exotic flowers against a hot pink background.
