Blue & Pink Floral Block Print Kantha Quilt

Our range of throws uses the technique of ‘Kantha’ – a running stitch, one of the oldest forms of Indian embroidery, which was traditionally used in West Bengal and Bangladesh. Our throws are 100% printed cotton with a self—coloured backing and are embellished with lines of running stitches. A standard blanket double, they are perfect for sofas or as bedspreads, bringing an injection of colour, print and texture to a room.

This elegant throw has flowering plants with blue and pink-red flowers and leaves outlined in light grey are block-printed on a crisp white background. The backing is white which brings out the beautiful blue running stitches.
